Hassan Omar, MBA is a real estate & financial services professional with over twenty five years of experience across multiple industries, including: Real Estate, Accounting, Insurance, Consumer Packaged Goods & Information Technology.
Since 2004, Hassan has successfully managed the analysis, purchase, renovation, leasing and sales of residential real estate.
As President of Sandalwoods Capital Group, Hassan leads the operational and asset management functions for the firm, overseeing the acquisition and management of multifamily properties nationwide.
Hassan collaborates actively with a team of highly experienced & accomplished real estate professionals, focused on all aspects of the business including; underwriting, acquisitions, investor relationships, contract negotiations, business systems development, business management and asset management.
Hassan specializes in property, financial, market/sub-market analysis, due diligence and project management services for large unit multifamily commercial real estate. He also provides guidance on activities focused on maintaining & Increasing asset value, including:
- Collaborating in the creation, review & submission of Capex, operational budgets and financial statements for lenders, investors and business partners.
- Maximizing asset performance via active monitoring of property financial performance and physical condition as well as identifying new ways to improve asset value via identifying new revenue opportunities, reducing expenses & improving processes.
- Active monitoring and assessment of competitors, capital markets and multifamily real estate market for trends and new opportunities.
Prior to Sandalwoods Capital Group, Hassan provided financial management, real estate financial analysis, Profit and Loss (PNL) management and accounting services for a range of major US corporations, including, The Coca Cola Company, Blue Cross and Others.
Hassan holds a M.B.A. in information technology from Mercer University and a B.A. in accounting from Georgia Southern University. He is also a ten year United States Army Veteran and a professional actor.
